Who was Derek Prince?

So, who was Derek Prince?

Derek Prince was a noted and gifted Bible teacher. He had the ability to present the Bible clearly and simply. So much so that many thousands have come to know God and Jesus in a deeper way through Prince's teaching.

His passion and desire was to "reach the unreached and teach the untaught". In pursuing this passion he authored well over fifty books and produced 100's of audio and video teachings. His writings and teachings have been translated into many different languages throughout the world.

Born in India in 1915 but of British descent, Derek Prince came to know Jesus Christ while serving in the British Army during World War Two. This encounter with the Lord completely turned his life around. An educated man who was somewhat of a philosopher soon found himself devoting his life to studying and teaching the Bible. This he did up till his death in 2003.

Derek Prince's approach to what he taught, which was non-denominational and non-sectarian, helped people from different races and religious backgrounds become open to the teaching of God's Word .  He had relevancy to all of people in all kinds of circumstances...a real gift.

While Prince's life and ministry was not without controversy, he persevered right to the end. His legacy is that Derek Prince books and audio/video teachings are now available to more than half of the world's population.

Derek Prince demonstrates a deep level of knowledge and understanding on this sometimes controversial subject. He is able to communicate the Biblical truths in a clear and concise manner as well as giving many convincing proofs and examples from the modern day.

Prince delves into the types of demons and spirits that may operate in a person's life and looks at the reasons why someone may be influenced by them. He looks at the grounds people give that allow these beings to operate in their lives.
